We want to hear from you. Share your thoughts with us. Let's connect.
Who am I?
Perhaps who you truly are has been waiting patiently to be revealed, not defined by others. Those that solved this mystery looked inside of themselves, beyond perceived reality.
Suppose that it was the case that our thoughts created our reality. That is, our thoughts create the life that we lead. Such thoughts influence the decisions we make each day when dealing with the people we refer to as our family, our co-workers and our friends. To take it a step further, it has been determined that for many of us, approximately 95% of these thoughts are the same ones that we had the day before. It makes sense then, that if this is so, then your current circumstance is not going to change any time soon. These same thoughts lead to the same choices. These recurring choices leads to the same actions and behaviors, which leads to the same experiences, and, ultimately to the same feelings.
We now know, thanks to the field of neuroscience, why this is so. Much of what we call our brain is made up of neurons, the cells that comprise a large portion of our brain substance. As it turns out, we have millions of these neurons, or nerve cells. As we develop from childhood, we create unique connections between groups of neurons based on our experiences and belief systems. Over many years, these collection of neurons come together to create networks- hard-wired networks that define how we react in certain situations, based on past experiences. When we reach adulthood, we are essentially hardwired to a set system of beliefs that becomes our personality.
When faced with certain situations in our daily existence, we, more often than not, are like a jetliner on autopilot, unconsciously activating these pre-programmed networks and make our decisions based on how we reacted in the past with familiar circumstances. These neurons, secrete the same neurotransmitters that communicate with these collections of neurons in our brain . Ultimately, we become creature of habit, creating the same reality as the day before, and so on....
So, when we decide that we want to change, that is, become more than this hard-wired system of predetermined belief systems, we come to the realization that 5% of the conscious mind is working against a formidable foe. That is, 95% of our thoughts are, by the time we reach our mid-thirties, those deep-engrained subconscious thoughts that govern our mind and body, will not allow such conscious thoughts to reach the body and change per-programmed habits.
When we start our day each morning, we are essentially a clean slate, free of the thoughts that inundate our mind. But for many of us, it only takes a few minutes before we relive all of our problems of our past, including overdue assignments, problems with our co-workers, issues with our spouses, an upcoming test, and all the other issues that creep out of our past experiences that weigh us down and begin a recurring cycle of negativity and complacency. These thoughts then, are a powerful force that, subconsciously, creates our vision of the immediate future. More so, if the feeling that comes from a past experience is very strong, we find ourselves expecting it to happen again. Reflexively, we put up defenses so that we can hopefully avoid that event from happening again. In effect, we are living in the past, led by past memories. Eventually, the body learns to become the "mind" of that emotion, and subconsciously, it reacts without putting conscious thought in to the event. An example of this is when we get in our car in the morning and find ourselves in the parking lot of where we work, without even recalling how we drove that car to its destination. Your body is believing that it is living in the same past. It does not recognize that is residing in the present moment.
In order to reaffirm our past, we reach for our cell phone, iPad or other device , and read our text messages, post thoughts and pictures on Instagram, Facebook and connect with our friends. We check in with our familiar past. We use that which is "known"in our lives to create our immediate future. In essence, we surrender our future to the predictable past. Our environment is controlling how we think and act.
So, the solution is to get beyond the pre-programmed mind. We must become greater than our environment. This is the secret of almost every successful person in history. In a nutshell, we must create our future in our mind. As if the wonderful circumstance that we dream of has already occurred. We become grateful for all that which is about to occur in our lives, by creating this future in our minds. To truly exist in the present moment. So, how do we go about doing this anyway?
Some of the greatest minds of our time have pondered this very question. Those that have succeeded in this endeavor have changed their lives, and the lives of others in quite remarkable fashion.
Simply stated, it is getting beyond the familiar predictable past, delving in to the void, or the unknown, and embracing the unfamiliar future. For so many of us, entering the unpredictable unknown is going to to be somewhat uncomfortable. Our bodies will want to cling to the known, even if that known reality does not bring us happiness. Such hard-wired networks in our brain will be activated and will be a strong force that will want to direct our bodies to stay on ground that is known and understood, based on past experiences and belief systems that have been a part of our past.
The tape recorder in our head will tell us phrases such as: "this doesn't feel right", "let's not do this today, maybe tomorrow", "you will never change", "you can't do this", "it's somebody else's fault that you think the way you do", as well as a myriad of other thought processes that will cause us to revert back to the familiar unsatisfying past. The important point, is that even though these thoughts will enter your mind, they are not necessarily true or accurate.
So, is entering the unknown field a daunting scary experience? Definitely not.
While it might be unfamiliar to explore the unknown, there are those who will tell you that it is a matter of quieting the constant barrage of thoughts that we all experience to varying degrees. While the techniques of how to go about this process have been known for thousands of years, it is through the recent advances of quantum theory that we are now beginning to understand the framework of how and why this is so. The answer is not outside of us, but begins within...
Listen to the voice of your soul, not to the noise of the world out there.
Your soul knows what to do and what is best for you.
It will never lead you astray....
There has been a great amount of research in the past 100 years that have tremendously changed how we view our cells, our bodies, our environment and the entire universe. Some of the brightest and gifted minds of our time have revealed truly amazing facts and concepts that are now changing the way we previously viewed our world and existence. Some of these names you have likely heard of, including Albert Einstein. Other great scientists, including Niels Bohr, Erwin Schroedinger, Werner Heisenberg and Richard Feynman made great contributions to the foundation of Quantum Physics. More recently, our understanding of Quantum Theory has progressed to a dizzy pace.
So, what does this have to do with each of us? What can we learn and integrate from seemingly complex topics that only Sheldon from the "Big Bang Theory" would understand?
OK, to begin, quantum physics is complex. in simple terms, we now know this:
Everything is ENERGY and VIBRATION. From our bodies, to all the animals, plants and materials that comprise our universe. Our cells, each and every one of them, resonates at a particular frequency. Our thoughts alone can have a major influence on the frequency at which the atoms that comprise our cells resonate. Positive thoughts, for instance, raise the frequency of vibration of these atoms, resulting in a direct positive effect on the functioning of our body. This concept is not new, as it has been the foundation of ancient cultures for thousands of years. Now, we have scientific proof that what some of use living in a mechanistic society would refer to as far-fetched, is actually real and has possibility to change the way we interact with our physical bodies. We are not necessarily victims of circumstance. Recent studies have shown that we can directly influence the activity of our DNA, which is the key to how our body functions and repairs itself on a daily basis.
Recognizing and connecting with this intrinsic ability does not require us to become anybody different than who we truly are. It does not require us to follow someone else's beliefs or ideals. Rather, it is an invitation to connect with your innate frequency and vibration, restoring harmony to every cell that comprises your body. We now understand that a key component is allowing your heart and brain to be in COHERENCE.
Some of us refer to this as being in a "zone" or "state of flow". This is where our heart, mind and body are functioning in precision, or when we feel a deep connection not only to ourselves but also our environment and the people we love.
Recent studies have shown that when we nurture feelings of appreciation, compassion and gratitude, the oscillations of our heart rhythm are coherent with that of our brain, so much so, that there is a magnetic field that can be measured several feet from the body in someone who is experiencing such heart coherence.
Quantum physics has made it clear that nothing that is observed is unaffected by the observer.
So, just what is heart brain coherence, and why is so important that we understand it?
Well, to begin, beyond what many of us already understand about the physiological function of the heart, that is, to pump oxygenated blood to the organs of our body, the heart is also an information processing center, sending important signals to the brain and the rest of the body. Further, the heart produces an electromagnetic field and can be detected about 6 feet from the body.
This field is carrying information about our emotional state. Additionally, our nervous system can detect the magnetic field that others around us are radiating, and the information carried by the heart's field can affect other people in measurable ways.
In reality, we are broadcasting our emotions. In many ways, it is through these energetic connections that we are able to sense what others are feeling, as well as what others can sense about us. This information, which is influenced by our emotions and inner attitudes, is broadcast and can have beneficial effects on those around us.
There is also firm evidence that the heart is a resource for a deeper sense of wisdom and intuitive knowing that bypasses normal logical thought patterns. In this light, it helps us make the right decisions based on the language of our true authentic self.
When we are feeling positive emotions, such as care for someone, gratitude, or appreciation for those close to us or nature, the heart beats out a very different message. In short. the heart is a complex information processing center with its own functional brain that communicates with and influences the brain via the nervous system, hormonal system, as well as other pathways. These influences affect brain function and the body's major organs and plays an important role in mental and emotional experience and the quality of our lives.
While the technological discoveries of recent research studies have definitively shown that there truly is more to our heart than as a reservoir for pumping blood to the rest of our body, many of these concepts were actually understood by ancient cultures, including Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Babylonian, Greek and Chinese populations thousands of years ago. These cultures understood the intelligence of the heart and how it served as an inner guidance system.
Modern science has now proved without doubt that the heart sends signals to the brain and the rest of the body. The heart is the intuitive voice that guides us through he experiences of our existence. If we are willing to listen, to quiet the mind, this powerful force that resides within our chest can lead us beyond our perceived limitations, accomplish goals that can surprise us. Positive feelings, including compassion, appreciation and gratitude emanate from the electrical fields produced by the heart and can be detected by others in our midst. In this way, we can positively affect others in ways that are truly amazing.
Coherence is the cooperative alignment between the heart, mind and emotions and can be measured by looking at changes in our heart rhythms and heart rate variability (HRV).
"Quantum physics has become the foundation of spiritual essence. It has verified that which ancient traditions have always known. Consciousness, not matter, is the ground of all being"
So much of our understanding of how people and things function has undergone drastic changes. Until recently, our understanding of our bodies and objects on this earth was of a linear and predictable nature. This understanding has allowed us to navigate quite well in our three-dimensional worlds. This has been commonly referred to as Newtonian or classical physics. Through this discipline, we have been able to accurately calculate how long it takes to drive from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City for example, or how much pressure is needed to drive a piston in a car.
More recently, brilliant minds such as Albert Einstein and Max Planck have altered many of these once concrete concepts. These physicists studied the subatomic world and discovered that electrons behaved much differently than we expected them to. Indeed, there is a nucleus at the center of a cell. However, the electrons did not rotate around the nucleus in a predictable manner as previously thought. Rather, a cloud of energy, like a wave, encircled the nucleus in a random unpredictable manner. This can best be described as a cloud of possibility. in fact, physicists could not accurately predict where the electron could be found in their experiments. The electron existed more as a wave of possibility. However, when the electron was observed, the electron collapsed into a particle (Collapsing Wave Function). When they took their attention off the electron, the electron converted back to a wave of possibility. So, it became clear that matter could alter its position in space based on whether there was an observer or not. In other words, subatomic events do not occur independently. Rather, the are dependent on an observer- a person observing an atom can influence where it is found in space, and can alter the properties of the atom itself (the observer effect).
So, the question is asked, on a larger scale, are we able to influence the function of our cells based on placing our attention on them? Well, to answer this question, let us explore first just what the quantum field is….
OK, so just what is the QUANTUM FIELD?
It is best to think of the quantum field as an invisible field of energy. A field of energy devoid of people, things, places to be- even devoid of time. It is an infinite field of energy and information that does not contain anything physical. However, we now know that we can experience this quantum field. This field, also referred to as the UNIFIED FIELD, organizes and brings order to and connects everything in our physical world. Thus, in the true sense of the word, according to quantum physics, we are all connected….
In times of stress that many of us experience on a daily basis, whether it be dealing with traffic, arguments with our spouses, the trials and tribulations of raising kids, work-related issues- as well as the negative banter we hear on social media, news programs and such, it is often the case that the brain and body becomes aroused, and the chemicals of stress are raised in our bodies. Our senses become heightened, and we feel separate- separate from everything material in our three-dimensional worlds. This inevitably results in the illusion of separateness.
This feeling separateness often results in many of reaching for anything to give us at least a brief relief from the often-horrific feeling of being alone as we circumnavigate our daily routine, which can damper happiness and bring a sense of hopelessness. Some of reach for drugs and alcohol- others reach for their mobile devices to connect with someone who can share our feelings of despair. While there may be so many methods that we resort to as a way to temporarily escape from the stress and strain we call our lives, they are all just that: temporary. Allow this to happen over several years, and there comes a time when we become so accustomed to living a life of obligations, rigid rules and such. We effectively lose touch with who we truly are. Our brains become programmed through repeated experiences so that neuron connections are made. These neuron connections become unconscious habits. By the time we reach our mid-thirties, approximately 85% of our thought are the same that we had yesterday, the week prior, the year prior, and so on. During this process, we often make the same wrong choices based on these pre-existing patterns. Some call it being on the treadmill and their obligation to other people, to their families, to their perceived superiors….
Well, is there a way out?
A way out of the predictable known?
Yes, and it is the “unknown”. It is in the quantum field.
This is truly where all possibilities exist. This is where you no longer relate to the material objects of our three-dimensional world. That is, when you no longer identify yourself by the things you own, the place where you live, where you work, the ideals you hold and a myriad of other pre-programmed nuances we call our identity. All of this information is stored or made available in the neocortex of our brain. When we "get beyond" this material self, and connect with the "unknown", we allow ourselves to broaden our focus and open our AWARENESS to tune in to energy and information. With concerted attention to this "unknown" field, we no longer relate ourselves to the material world, to those thoughts and memories that we use to help make our decisions and how we relate to others. Those same choices that often harbor anger, stress and discord. Those feelings that tend to separate us from each other, ultimately resulting in unhappiness and discord.
This "unknown" field has nothing to do with separation. It has all to do with CONNECTION. This reality exists beyond our senses, That is to say, far and away from what we feel, what we see, what we hear, and what we smell. Rather, it is where we step in to a realm where all possibilities exist. This is assuming a wide focus and opening our awareness to new information and energy. Once we begin to allow awareness in to this wide open field, we can begin to alter our brain waves- no longer relying on the automatic response system. That means no longer inundating yourself with deadlines, checking your e-mail or text, worrying about your problems, how much time you have or pining for material things that you want. When we decide to clear ourselves from this material world, we slow our brainwaves and tune in to high energy that is the signature of the unified field. The consequence is that we develop COHERENCE and order to ourselves.
With this coherence, there is a tremendous benefit that we can experience on so many levels.
So, just what are these benefits?
Click on the "Find out more" button to learn what there is to gain from connecting to this higher vibration field.
1. Exercise coherent brain activity with a clear intention
2. Exercise elevated coherent heart activity with heartfelt emotion
3. Express gratitude for that which you desire
Once you begin to practice these concepts, you raise your vibrational energy
and allow those thoughts to broadcast in to the field, you can begin to connect with potential energy that already exists in the quantum field. There are no time or distance constraints in this quantum field. You become the vortex and a vibrational match will bring that experience to you. If you can practice this on a regular and consistent basis, get ready, because something unusual is going to happen in your life in a way that you least expect it.
Operating with a higher vibrational state and improved coherence means all parts of your body work together to heal and restore all organs of your body to health and well-being.
In the Quantum Field, all possibilities exist. There are no material possessions, rules or inhibitions that keep us from realizing peace, happiness and prosperity. Such happiness truly comes from within, No exogenous substances or input from others is necessary.
There is growing consensus that when we are able to raise our vibrational energy, we are able to influence and signal the expression of genes that promote health and healing. The implications are wide range, and has resulted in a relatively new field of study called EPIGENETICS.
When we are able to connect with this amazing field, we are able to tap in to our INNER GUIDANCE SYSTEM, which assists us to make the right decisions and help lead us to our sole purpose. By the way, Steve Jobs, Warren Buffet and Richard Branson are well aware of this benefit and have used it to guide them in making their major decisions.
Through our connection with the Unified Field, we can dramatically improve brain function, effectively harnessing our brain's ability to upgrade itself. Many studies are showing us that we can cure depression, improve our memory, and even increase the number of neurons in our brain- and, so much more...
In the Unified Field, you are FREE- free of others demands thoughts and conditions. Beyond the Shadow, we can begin to connect with the being that we really are. Beyond the collective ego, there is love beyond comparison.
We can change our DNA
When we are born, the DNA in our bodies contains the blueprint for many of the characteristics of who we are and who we will become. More common examples of this includes the color of our eyes, hair color, height, body stature, as well as a multitude of other phenotypic characteristics that displays those features that we see of ourselves when we look in the mirror.
It is truly fascinating that there is now recent evidence that this DNA we are born with is not the sole determinant for who we are and who we can be.
The field of EPIGENETICS refers to the science that studies how our development, functioning and evolution are directly influenced by forces operating outside the DNA sequence, including environmental and energetic influences. Indeed, our thoughts can have an influence on the expression of our genes. While it can go both ways, factors such as appreciation, gratitude and love can alter the ultimate outcome of individual DNA blueprint. So, we are not necessarily helpless victims of our genes- if the genes control our life function, then our lives are being controlled by processes that occur beyond our ability to change them. In fact, our thoughts, both good and bad, can influence the physical aspects of DNA strands. This is particularly the case when we are in a heart-focused, loving state. When experiencing such positive feelings, we have a greater ability to alter the conformation of DNA.
The implications of being able to directly influence the expression of our genes is far-reaching. Improved health, including optimally functioning cells that can positively affect our appearance, improved brain function and decreasing our chances of experiencing the altering body function to include cancer are just a few of the potential benefits.
Taken to heart, we can become active participants in our bodies and how we relate to others in our world.
You have the power to control your own health and well-being.
You are in control of your cells and genes.
Your thoughts and environment can heal you from the inside and out.
So, just what are Chakras? Why is it important that we understand what they are?
We likely have heard this term being used, particularly in a yoga class or Reiki session. Today, as many of us are discovering the wonders of higher consciousness and connecting with our inner spirit, this term, and all its associated connotations have become front and center in discussion forums in many circles, including a variety of blogsites. As is often the case with other spiritual topics, chakras have been an integral part of ancient cultures and how these ancestors dealt with the trials and tribulations of life’s journey. More recently, there has been a vigorous growing interest in understanding chakras. As we are now entering a new paradigm, it is only inevitable that chakras are being integrated and understood by many cultures, including western culture.
Even more interesting, peer-reviewed research utilizing cutting edge technology is now proving the myriad of benefits all of us can experience by aligning our chakras.
So, there are 7 main chakras, which align with the spine, starting from the base of the spine (root chakra) through to the top of the head (crown chakra). There are many more chakras. In fact, some experts state that there are an infinite number of chakras. We will concentrate on the seven main chakras that most of us recognize.
Chakras are like swirling wheels of energy where physical forces and consciousness meet. This energy is called Prana, the vital life force, which is what keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive. Each chakra corresponds to major nerve centers and major organs in the body. Each of the 7 main chakras also contain our psychological, emotional, and spiritual states of being. Some refer to each chakra as being its own brain. It is important to know that each chakra works as an integral part of the whole system, just like our universe, which we are all a part of…
It is critical that each chakra remains aligned and with its energy moving fluidly between each of them. The chakras are ultimately connected as one cohesive unit. If there is a blockage in one (or many) chakras, then the energy can’t flow throughout our body. This creates stagnant energy which, over time will manifest in various imbalances (emotional, physical illness or disease).
Keeping the energy flowing freely within our body and our chakras open is much easier to do when you have awareness of them and what an imbalance might feel like. Helping to balance one also helps to bring and keep the others in balance as well.
The following is a breakdown of the 7 chakras, what each represent, what physical body parts are associated with each, crystals and essential oils used to help balance them, as well as what symptoms you might feel if there is a block.
The 7 Chakras

Balancing the Chakras
Having an awareness to which of our chakras are out of balance is key to bringing them into alignment (not underactive nor overactive). Because our energies are in constant flux, determining which chakra is imbalanced can be difficult if you do not have an apparent problem.
The best way is to start listening to our body’s signals and clues.
The longer the imbalances reside within you, the larger the health or emotional problem will become.
Having a regular meditation practice is very helpful and is most impactful on being able to identify which chakras need support and what is the root of the imbalance.
